For those who don't know me, I'm Basalt. Currently, I'm co-captain of Mesopelagic. This is a website meant to document all my various writings regarding competitive Splatoon. Although most are my own thoughts about certain topics, I also have do write-ups on my opinions of other peoples' writings. I've always been of the opinion that to truly get better at this game one must be willing to expand their horizons by learning from others.

Of course, this doesn't mean neglect playing the game.
